Still more articles on the CSS3 standard - pity that not many browsers support it yet. This time Alex writes on how to use fonts from the server side, not depending on the client.

Quite a good point, and not only for "marketing".
It's true for everything. If someone is not in the mood to listen, either because he has something else to do, or simply it does not fit with his goals, then you can do whatever you want, he will not listen.

Just ask any parents trying to explain something to his kid while the kid wants to watch cartoons.

This is so true. One day awareness actions are never good. Do it all year, remember all year, don't appoint one and only one "special" day. If you link something to a special time, then that thing will be something of an exception.

Poe-tree has been shut down. Poets allegedly lost their living because of their site. I doubt that their sales will grow. Most likely it will fall even further, because they lost one of the most effective marketing site they had.

Funny.
Now what should have been done?
Make her sit down. Call out a manager. Calm her down. She is upset, yep. You, as a customer rep. is working with people. Not bricks.
Make her calm down. Chat with her.
Then she won't throw the phone, and won't crash her car.

Karma is a bitch.
If you can't do your job, look for another one.
