Perspective is one of the wings that lifts a photograph to great heights. The other is light. Here are some exquisite examples of the former.

With few exceptions, Bizarro is the only comic I bother to read. Funny, creative, offbeat, acerbic and intelligent (often in a twisted way), Dan Piraro almost always delivers! I found Dan's blog to be the most entertaining and engaging part of this site.

I first came across these lovely prints while on a retreat at the Optimum Health Institute. I saw them again recently at East West Bookstore in Mountain View where I found the answer to the empty wall in my bedroom.

Fanstastic gallery of Apollo 11 pictures, some of them hi-res (look for the Hi-Res box to the right of the thumbnail pic). You can find images from all of the Apollo missions here as well. Here's a good article which gives a glimpse of what it was like to be on the moon.

The UltraMind Solution is a way to achieve optimum physical and mental health by focusing on the 7 Keys to an UltraMind. The thing that appeals to me about this program is that it is comprehensive and authoritative. It's based on the premise that our natural state is one of health but, for various reasons, such as diet, lifestyle and environment, we are out of balance.

The program is easy to follow, particularly if you take advantage of the website where you can get the support of other people following the program. The book, which clearly explains the program, is rated very highly on Amazon (4.5/5 stars based on over 100 reviews).

Scroll down the page to see an overview of the 7 Keys to an UltraMind.

Writing is often an under appreciated skill. But when you come across bad writing or have an occasion to express yourself in writing, if you don't do so regularly, then you can really appreciate good writing. Here are a few tools to help you improve.

Perhaps this video is somewhat preachy and oversimplified but it is also inspiring and motivating! It's value is as a wake-up call to our rampant consumerism.
