Ok dude, you are entitled to your opinion, however limited but a couple things:

Look here Hank:
1. If it was about oil, the price would be better. Its not.
2. If it was about profit, we would attack someone with money. We didn't.

You actually wrote this trying to sound intelligent.

1. The price of oil is exactly were oil companies want it (they actually want it higher). You actually think oil companies want to lower oil prices? The conflict in Iraq created scarcity, now children Economics 101 what does scarcity of resources do to price... it drives it up. What does artificial scarcity do... drives up profits. Now lets look at oil industry profits for the last several years... why low and behold they are record high.

2. This is not the middle ages, you dont invade other countries to steal there gold trinkets, corporations make money through open ended no bid contracts ala Halliburton. Its called the Industrial Military Complex, you know that little thing the last good Republican president warned us about in his farewell address.

After chatting with this individual, although I disagree with some of his politics, he seems like a good person who is well read and I bear him no ill will.
