base camp north of El Coyote....


big huge cliffs run for miles here- and once you get up there it is really neat- except for the 90+ temps in Dec.



we park the rig a little ways from the coastline and humped up every day....


but one night we spike camped out- I didn't have room for a sleeping bag with the camera and tri-pod etc.....so that is me sleeping on the gravel with the scorpions...it did get down into the low 50's


I really liked it down in this desert.
