Email forwarding is a bad practice unless you strip out all the other addresses . . . like petitions, virus warnings, promises of wealth and giveaways and such, do your correspondent a favor and do a little research first.

Now updated April 2 with link to visual guide for those who think they may be infected and link to list of removal tools.
It's a worm not a virus and propogates itself as such and has received its instructions as of April 1 to modify itself.
Now we wait and see what happens, if anything, over the next few weeks. April 1 was merely the 'trigger' date.
