In the US electronic readers are pretty popular gadgets that store more books than anybody can manage to carry around with oneself. They were introduced to revolutionise the way books are read. But, portable book readers always have been suffering from high prices and technical shortcomings. In 2006 Sony launched the Sony Reader in the US and landed a sales hit. Sony actually hasn't made any plans to cross the Atlantic with its electronic reader, but now the Japanese based company has announced to go on sale with the Sony Reader in more than 300 UK shops.

Panasonic has launched a new Lumix superzoom digital camera, the DMC-FZ28 featuring an 18x zoom. The bridge camera has a good handling, similar to that of reflex cameras and owns a 10-megapixel sensor as well as a lens from Leica. Considering where to take this camera, people usually think of family events, holidays or outdoor photography. But, what about taking your camera on a freighter cruise? Sony Ericsson takes the gloves off in its long-term target to design the most attractive music phones on the market. Yesterday, it unveiled the Walkman phones W302, W595 and W302 and additionally seven new music accessories. The new mobile phones promise better audio experiences and visual quality.

British Motor Show: Nice reveals MyCar in London

The British International Motor Show, starting tomorrow July 23 in London, announced to present over 20 global premieres at the show. Amongst debuts such as the Vauxhall Insignia, Ford Fiesta ECOnetic, Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed or Toyota Aygo Crazy is the new MyCar, an all-electric city vehicle distributed in the UK by Nice. Interestingly, former Lotus colleagues Julian Wilford and Evert Geurtsen, founded Nice. Visitors at the British Motor Show can expect to see a stylish and good looking MyCar, which is friendly to the environment and peoples' wallet too.
