Does anyone still believe we are in Afghanistan to "help" Hamid Karzai provide democracy and arithmetic lessons to school girls? Those "bothersome dissidents" are kicking the shit out of the yanks in Kabul, the British and the Dutch troops in Helmand, the Canadians in Kandahar, and doing whatever the hell they feel like doing in Pakistan........... Maybe it is time to stop pretending the Taliban are a bunch of disorganized, fanatical sheep herders, and admit we are dealing with a dedicated, professional and highly motivated resistance movement here. I don't think there is any question we will lose this war, the only decision left to make is how many more dead heros do we want to accept before we decide to surrender. Oh, and by the way...... could we have a factual progress report on how well we are doing in the matter of "cleaning up the heroin trade" please?

Even without the name coincidences, it is a losing proposition to release this visitors list. You just KNOW the after-birthers, nose-pickers, and teabag heads are going to find something sinister about every single person who has visited the White House this year.
