Cohocton Town Supervisor Zigenfus parrots the same lies as the wind developers. Where are all those jobs? Coming from constant repairs to a project that does not work to produce any meaningful energy! As for the money, how much went in the Zigenfus pocket?

The CPA includes 14 member groups so far, including Citizens for a Healthy Rural Neighborhood of Perry. They're primarily based in Western New York, though the CPA is a statewide group, with other members in New Hampshire and Ohio.

Proof that UPC has compromised a Cohocton Planning Board member who voted for the UPC " Special Use" Permits.
Now he is employed by the Mortenson general contractor on the UPC Wind Cohocton Project, while remaining a Cohocton Planning Board member.

Citizen Power Alliance strongly opposes the inclusion of industrial wind subsidy in this bill. Extension of the investment tax credit (ITC) and providing incentives for an inefficient technology will only cause a further tax burden on the public. The following points are compelling:

Vote NO on S. 2821, the Clean Energy Stimulus Act or eliminate industrial wind from any other legislative bills that provide investment tax credits (ITC).

The purpose of addressing your assembly today is to inform the elected county officials of Steuben County that there is a serious problem with SCIDA. As you are aware, this body appoints the board members of SCIDA. The New York State legislature has in the past provided the authority for IDA's. Last year a temporary extension for the state's IDA was passed. That extension expired on January 31, 2008.

How does the NY consumer benefit from such a plot to defraud the ratepayer? The threats of eminent domain have been heard at every corner of our state.
