A notable feature of many of Godfrey Ho's films was the presence of the B-actor Richard Harrison in a lead role. Harrison, a reasonably well-known American B-movie actor in the 1960s and 1970s, agreed to act in several of Ho's films in the early 1980s, although this footage was later spliced into many more of Ho's films without Harrison's knowledge. Harrison has stated that the damage done to his acting career by this association with Ho's films led him to retire in 1990.[2]

Many of Ho's movies are revered by aficionados of bad movies as being among some of the most unintentionally hilarious movies ever created, featuring, among other things, Benny Hill-esque car chases run on sped-up film, roller-skating ninjas, and superfluous rape scenes which often have little or no connection with the already disjointed plot. Ho is also noteworthy for his uncredited use of music from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Wars, Wendy Carlos, Miami Vice, Iczer One, Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream and Steve Hillage among others, as background music in his films.

Mohammad Amin al-Husayni (1895 - July 4, 1974, أمين الحسيني, alternatively transliterated al-Husseini),a member of the al-Husayni clan of Jerusalem, was a Palestinian and Arab nationalist and a Muslim leader in Palestine. Al-Husayni was also the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem over the period from 1921 to 1948.

Like many other Arab leaders of his time al-Husayni was known for his anti-Zionism and fought against the establishment of a National home for the Jewish people in the territory of the British Mandate of Palestine, particularly during the Great Arab Revolt. He fled Palestine in 1937 and took refuge in Nazi Germany during World War II and helped recruit Muslims for the Waffen-SS. In 1941 al-Husayni met Adolf Hitler in Berlin and asked him to oppose, as part of the Arab struggle for independence, the establishment of a Jewish state . During the 1948 Palestine War his faction was represented by the Army of the Holy War, which had been founded as a secret society by Jamal al-Husayni in 1936. He opposed King Abdullah's ambitions for the Palestinian territory captured by the Arabs during the war.

After being sidelined successively by the Arab Nationalist Movement and the Palestine Liberation Organization, he lost most of his remaining political influence.[1] Al-Husayni died in Beirut, Lebanon in 1974.

Self-Styled &Orders of Saint John& I

From the page: "The most troubling of the self-styled Orders are those which assume the name and badge and adopt the history of an internationally recognized Order of Chivalry. The SMHOM and the four members of the Alliance of Orders of Saint John are among the most prestigious of all Knightly Orders. Since they are engaged in important charitable work and humanitarian activities, it is particularly unfortunate that there are a number of extant organizations which have assumed the name and style of "Order of Saint John". When the machinations of one of the self-styled "orders" are exposed, sometimes following criminal activities by one of their sponsors, there is an inevitable reflection on the name of Saint John which may injure the recognized Orders. The latter have made a concerted effort to publicly disassociate themselves from these organizations and, to this end, have formed a False Orders Committee which constantly updates the shifting allegiances between the different groups and attempts to warn the general public against them. They have been aided in this by the Holy See which, on 28 November 1976 and 1 December 1976, published statements in the Osservatore Romano, making it clear that the so-called "Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem" was nothing to do with the Sovereign Military Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta.
