He's done it again.

It was the same morning routine...

Stumble to the door, followed by 8 dancing feet - sometimes 8 meowing dancing feet, as well.

Put outside collars on and kick all the loudly dancing/meowing/etc. feet out.

Stumble to the coffee maker and toss ingredients.

Stumble to the computer and stare blankly at the screen.

Pour coffee and slurp it with addict-like intensity.

Stare at computer and try to figure out why I was staring at my screen saver for 10 minutes.

Contentedly flip through emails and slurp coffee until the furry knock on my door (did I mention he taught himself to knock on the door?)

Grudgingly leave email and coffee to perform doorman duties.

Take off collars, wipe feet and bodies as needed, and back to the normal routine.

Except THIS morning...as I bend down to take off Tier's collar...the overwhelming smell of... CRITTER POOP! GAG!!! RETCH! FLAIL! CURSE! PUNT!

The last was me kicking him right back out the door where he stayed and proceeded to knock in harder and harder raps as the morning wore on. I felt slightly mean, but I can't do poop pre-coffee. I just can't.

Egen would like to point out one of the inherent dangers of belonging to a young girl:

Mostly you are a decorative pawn, but sometimes also utilitarian, like when your girl has homework...

Sometimes even poor Tier will lay still for too long and get caught in up it...

Noooo! Get it offfff! Mooooo-ooommmmm!!!

Dang it. *pout* :(

S: *in horror* Oh yeah, and sit in the same movie as us!

Me: But not in the same row, or anything.

This is how Tier chose to wake up my daughter this morning.

Note the ineffectually flailing arm. The hand on the other arm is trapped and being thoroughly "cleaned", or as we call it, "slimed". I just giggled as I watched the squashing-in-process, and snapped a few shots. Hey, he only outweighs her by 20 lbs or so! She can take it! She's tough! :D

Sissy said I wasn't a lap puppy. :*(
