I feel somehow a twitch at first,like a whisper of a breeze,gentle,and close.Very close.pffff.Exhale.I ignore it.Typing madly away I feel it again ever so barely.pffff.Exhale.Breezeeeeee against my skin.Got to get this done,this task,this one little thing.pfffffffffffff.exhale.tickle now wet and cold touching me! Agh! Pinprick ,single poke near the back of my elbow turning into bristlywet pushing force through to my upper thigh.Furry skin stretched insanely to its max between my arm and thigh revealing two brown liquid pools of love,whites exposed.I can't help but laugh.Thump,thump goes the tail,she smiles her canine smile .So pure.My heart bursts with love.Her blond beard tickles me as I pinch her nostrils shut.She still smiles,pfffffffffff.I laugh.
O.K. Time for a walk.I give.You win.I'm such a sucker......................

Hey all you freaks out there in stumble land
What a month!(or so)
Decided to add on to the house,been biding our time to pick the right weather and have some time off from work(shift worker-yeah right)
anyhoodlies......
ended up looking at houses.Many, many houses, much to the surprise of my other half.(I think he's still in shock really that I started in that direction as I really loved our little bit of shangra-la,after all I've been there 11 yrs.
It was a flat yard-past tense.It now has gardens,a court yard,shop,storage shed and hobby shed,chicken coop,chicken run and brooder/sick chicken(rare)/broiler room.The house has many upgrades...oak floors,new lighting,new bathroom(big time)kitchen remodelled,new appliances,paint.Deck redone 12 x 24'. The list goes on...fruit trees galore, even my own Mason bees....We are moving-moved basically.....We are now into a bigger house-not by much,but what we need(not too much)LOVING IT! WOW! WHAT A DIFFERENCE 400 FT. MAKES!Nothing fancy or super ultra huge to clean...just a nice clean home with some special little things that we find funky and useful.What do I find that I miss the most? It's so stupid-wow....the southern exposure...hot deck on my feet...the clothesline...the woodstove...the heat.omg.the heat! what a heat! it's so what I'm used to.Hard to get used to forced air and propane heat.So.....Looking at new woodstoves to put in this puppy,much more heat efficient and have the pull-outs for cooking when the lights go out.....
I really have to say how blessed we are for the friends that we have...the real friend is the one that helps you move! One of our friends had his birthday yet worked his bag off moving our belongings from one place to the other....can you believe this?His wife helping me all day plus bringing a big pot of chilli over in a slow cooker...!!!!Lord love a duck! The other has helped my other half(his good friend) move several times( our friend Darren)which we can't say enough about to begin with anyways......
Woke up with a nose bleed this morning.Different heat yup.But then again stress,all of us are sick with bad colds,been working all the way through.Contractors coming in to finish things when we are on a tight schedule....Most importantly though, my hubby has been working his ASS OFF BIG TIME HUGE WHILE WORKING SHIFT WORK TO TRY TO GET STUFF DONE........bum squeezing love to the big guy...BIG TIME!I can't express my thanks enough!
Back to the freaks on stumble....
thank you for the pages sent(my friends)
and your patience/love/freaky pages sent to me in the last while..It was awesome to collect these pages when logging on finally after hectic days.Saline/Red Hook/Hendon....thank you big time.....

Hello out there,
Been crazy here in my little world....house hunting....finally found our new shangra-la...quick move because of a quick closing...soooo....I haven't been on here as much and won't be still for a little while more.
My heart goes out to the Aussies.My thoughts are with the families who have suffered great loss caused by the fires.

sitting here tonight looking at the cat all stretched out on the dog's bed(no dog within sight)attached
to the cat scratch still by one
claw and sleeping!
Charlie brown Christmas tree decorated by one 10 yr old that was stranded by weather(gladly).I'm the only one up,everybody else is flaked out(pardon me -sprawled out near the woodstove) except for the tall guy who is sleeping in the room with the frozen window(open).FILL YOUR BOOTS BIG GUY!He's one of those people who generate heat 1000 degrees all the time.yup.I'd be a frozen stick by now...no...you'll catch me by the fire .The weather person has predicted more of this white stuff and.....more lows-18 c.Holy doodles!Managed to get out today to drop off young snow covered preteen,procurred groceries without any dents,and back home for home made greek food with a really good pomegranate cider(who me?) the wine snob? I was just in the mood that's all darn it.Get over it.
So happy not to be working with this white stuff happening.It's so rare.I'll actually get to walk the dog in it without having to go to work#2 you don't have to look at the landscaping that you haven't tiddlied,#3 It BRIGHTENS everything! For those s.a.d. people out there you know what I mean?!#4 It gives you the excuse to be a total fool and play(what the hell?)
The part that sucks is making sure the girls are o.k.(chickens and ducks) every thing freezes.So...warmed water twice a day,extra light and lock down.Yup.LOCK DOWN!Terrorize the produce guy at the market to get extra stuff and make sure there is grit for their gizzards.Yup, there's more to it than meets the eye.

One thing I keep learning over and over since very young.Humility....and remember...your story could be bad...really bad...but remember there's someone out there worse off than you...but ....if you've lost someone...the heart ache is so unbelievable,so lonely a feeling,you HAVE TO PICK OUT THE BEST AND THE JOYOUS...JOY.Their essence when they were everyday.When they laughed.When YOU were looking and they didn't know.
