The administration's pivotal figure, George Herbert Walker Bush, is a three-time president of the U.S.: vice-president over Ronald Reagan, president, and presiding father over his own son. The election coup of the year 2000 happened under his planning and influence. The resulting White House cabinet came out as a copy of his former administrations. Now, in the final stages of his life, he wants to achieve what has been his utopian goal all along. Not politics, but seizing power over the government for imperialistic purposes, inspired by what can now truly be called a fascist ideology. In fact, the nation now serves as a mere subsidiary system for the oil and weapons lobbies. Two instances that threaten the survival of the planet.

George HW Bush is a long-time CIA agent, is a former CIA director, and in 1999 seized control over the intelligence agency. This was hardly an obscured coup: the headquarters of the CIA are now officially designated as the "George Bush Center for Intelligence", not to honor Bush' long CIA career, but as a purely practical apprehension of the global intelligence power that the agency provides. The CIA is now the White House's private propaganda and black operations army. George Herbert Walker Bush now commands both.

CLEVELAND AP �" A judge suspicious of more corruption pressed two former election board workers to tell what they know and then sentenced them today to the maximum 18 months in prison for rigging the 2004 presidential election recount to make their job easier.

�oeI can�t help but feel there�s more to this story,” said Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge Peter Corrigan, who allowed the women to remain free on bond pending appeal. Some of their friends and relatives sobbed as the judge imposed the sentence.

The judge repeatedly asked Jacqueline Maiden, 60, an election coordinator who was the Cuyahoga County board�s third-highest ranking employee, and ballot manager Kathleen Dreamer, 40, if higher-ups in the board had directed the recount rigging.

�oeIt seems unlikely your supervisors wouldn�t know,” the judge prodded.

The women, standing side by side, said they had cooperated with a state investigation of the elections board in Ohio�s most populous county. The board has been a lightning rod for critics wary since Ohio gave the 2004 election to President Bush.

�oeThis big conspiracy, it�s not there,” Dreamer said. She said she wasn�t protecting anyone at the board and had been truthful in the investigation.

Maiden said she wouldn�t lie, even to protect someone. �oeI�ve never tried to do anything underhanded,” she said.

But the judge sounded skeptical. �oeTelling the whole truth, that�s what�s important,” Corrigan said. �oeI�m not convinced you�ve done that.”

Erie County Prosecutor Kevin Baxter, appointed as an outside investigator to look into the election board in Cleveland, told that judge that the women had been uncooperative in the investigation and appealed for prison time for both.

�oeThe defendants have never come clean,” he said.

Prosecutors said the employees broke the law when they worked behind closed doors three days before the Dec. 16, 2004, recount to pick ballots they knew would not cause discrepancies when checked by hand so they could avoid a lengthier, more expensive hand recount of all votes.

Baxter criticized the outspoken support for the women from Robert Bennett, the election board chairman and head of the Republican Party in Ohio. Endorsing such criminal behavior is �oeamazing, it�s astounding,” according to Baxter, who didn�t indicate if the investigation might lead to more charges.

The Infamous Israeli "Art Students" Had No Role in 9/11

There is a strident faction among 9/11 researchers that has, since the Israeli "art student" episode, maintained that the Mossad was either behind 9/11, or was spying on the accused terrorists at the time of the WTC air assaults and failed to warn US officials. This claim is based on an article about the Israeli "students" that appeared in the German periodical Die Zeit. With this article in hand, Jason Raimondo - the libertarian author of Reclaiming the American Right (introduction by Patrick Buchanan, a blatant anti-Semite), also a contributing editor for The American Conservative - has long been at the forefront of the "Israel did it" crowd. Aside from Die Zeit, another media outlet fuelled the Israeli spy controversy three months after 9/11, namely Fox News.

As Salon reported in May 2002, "reporter Carl Cameron of the Fox News Channel was beginning an investigation into the mystery of the art students that would ultimately light the way into altogether different terrain. In a four-part series on Foxs' 'Special Report With Brit Hume' that aired in mid-December, Cameron reported that federal agents were investigating the 'art student' phenomenon as a possible arm of Israeli espionage operations tracking al-Qaida operatives in the United States. Yes, you read that right: a spy ring that may have been trailing al-Qaida members in the weeks and months before September 11 - a spy ring that according to Cameron's sources may have known about the preparations for the September 11 attacks but failed to share this knowledge with U.S. intelligence.

One investigator told Cameron that 'evidence linking these Israelis to 9/11 is classified. I cannot tell you about evidence that has been gathered. It's classified information.'" The word inside most newsrooms was that Cameron's report was misinformation. "Reporters at the New York Times and the Washington Post," Salon's Christopher Ketcham notes, "hit up their go-to people inside Justice and FBI and CIA, but no one could seem to confirm the story, and indeed numerous officials laughed it off. Fox got it wrong, the newspapers of record concluded. And nothing more was heard on the topic in mainstream quarters." Le Monde and Intelligence Online obtained the same DEA report that Cameron cited - it does not state at any point the students were spies, but speculates they might be - and made definitive statements based on information not found in the source material. The day after the Le Monde piece appeared, the Washington Post ran an article in which the Justice Department denied the story: "The department has no information at this time to substantiate these widespread reports about Israeli art students involved in espionage." Unfortunately for Raimondo and others, it is doubtful that the Israel art students were spies - they were shysters, small-time con artists. And despite the belief that has taken hold in some quarters of 911 Truth, it's extremely doubtful that these kids had anything to do with the Mossad at all. The story sort of adds up, Ketchan wrote: "This scenario has the virtue of simplicity - if it smells like a spy, walks like a spy, and talks like a spy, it probably is a spy - but doesn't make much sense, either. Why would the Mossad - or any spy outfit with a lick of good sense - use kids without papers as spies? And, just as our incredulous DEA agent noted, what intelligence useful to Israel could be gathered from DEA offices, anyway?" This is not to say that other, actual Mossad spy rings had no part large or small in 9/11. Former NSA staffer Wayne Madsen has been hammering on this theme. But sifting through the details of the "art students'" movements within the US reveals that they had nothing to do with 9/11 or the alleged Arab terrorists living here, if one studies the timeline with a fine-toothed comb.
