I would like to provide some relevant links, for the information of anyone who is contemplating a trip to Australia anytime soon.

The Australian tourism industry has recently launched a fancy marketing campaign, incorporating television advertisements, in an effort to attract additional visitors to Australia.

Before you make your decision to spend your hard earned money on a holiday in Australia, you should take a close look at these;

1) Ivan Milat - convicted of Murdering seven people, five of which were international travelers. He is suspected of murdering another thirty people. He is currently in prison in Australia. Further information;

I don't remember the begining of the Bill Clinton years very well, but I have heard that his transition to office was considered to be a disaster.

Interestingly, I remember the Monica Lewinski matter fairly well. I wonder what she is doing now?

Anyway, I was wondering what you think of the Barrack Obama transition into the position of US president. Do you think he is on track and doing OK so far?

What's Happened to Osama??

(I am currently in the process of asking all of my friends at the popular social networking sites this same question.)

!! Does anyone know the where-abouts of Osama Bin Laden?? !!

I realise that most people have been pre-occupied with the financial meltdown and the presidential elections. Not to mention the upheaval in Georgia / South Ossettia and the torture of prisoners in Guantanamo Bay.

But things have been eerily quiet on the OBL scene. You could say that the silence lately has been deafening.

Interestingly, the FBI, CIA, GWB and all of the coalition countries engaged in the war on terror, with all of their resources, have been unable to locate him. So please do you're bit and lend a helping hand!

If you do know where Osama Bin Laden is, please come forward and reply to this post. Or contact your local authorities.

I'm not a citizen of the USA, so I'm not voting in you're up coming presidential elections.

I'm just a concerned on-looker, worried about the implications for the the rest of the world that could result from SP being elected as VP.

She seems il-informed at best. Unable to comprehend the posible catastrophic results of her views on world wide diplomatic relations.

I recently heard her say in an interview that if elected, she would be taking on, or confronting the Russians directly.

Does this mean she wants to drag the world into a new cold war?

It's evident from her profile that she is a trigger happy right wing reactionary. She loves guns, hunting & killing animals and seems to be an inward looking type who only obtained a passport two years ago.

Is this the most appropriate person to be in control of the worlds largest stockpile of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction?

Today is September 11th. Seven years since the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. Since then, 4155 US troops have died in Iraq. 95,373 Iraqi people have also been killed in this time.

As far as I am aware, Osama Bin Laden, believed to be the mastermind of the terrorist attacks is still at large.

961 coalition troops have been killed to date in Afganistan.

And what is the headline story about on the TV news today???

Whats going on in australian politics?? Read on....

It seems to me that the liberal politicians in the australian parliament are going to do nothing but block the governments bills, one after another. Raising the medicare levy to give lower income earners more opportunity to access public health seems reasonable to me. Likewise, a tax on luxury, fuel guzzling cars seems reasonable. So why are the conservative polititions blocking these initiatives in the australian senate? Because they care more about their mates in the private health insurance industry than what they do about low and middle income earners. They also care more about their wealthy mates who purchase luxury cars than what they do about low and middle income earners. The conservative politicians don't think their rich mates should have to pay tax at all! Taxes are for the sweaty masses in the opinion of the torys.
So what should the spineless and piss weak australian government do to get these torys out of the way? Call a double dissolution of parliament and put these conservatives on the spot. Bring their blocking tactics right into the faces of all australians and let them be judged for wasting the money and time of the voters, just because they wish to constantly block the government.
Will the australian labour government call a double dissolution election and solve this matter once and for all?? Of course not! They don't have the guts. They are piss weak and stupid. But then again, someone must have voted for them right??
Maybe as a nation, we get the piss weak, stupid politicians we deserve.
