I am I am really disappointed in Abdullah Abdullah's decision to withdraw from the run-off election. I think the whole thing shows the need for constitutional reform in Afghanistan; the current one gives the President too much power to appoint regional governors and thus leads to cronyism - poisoning the democratic process.

Asking of President Obama deserves the Nobel Peace Prize is the wrong question. The intention isn't to reward him, but lobby him, especially on Afghanistan, non-proliferation, and Israel.
