SU Tip-o-the moment

Just say "no" to Yahoo! News.

Unlike a number of other sites (e.g. CNN, MSNBC & The New York Times). Yahoo! News does not permanently archive their stories.

This becomes a problem when one follows a link from a site such as StumbleUpon to a story that is over several weeks old. The link will be bad.

And more often than not, the story on Yahoo! News will be from a srevice such as the Associated Press. Thousands of sites carry AP stories (including the others sites I've mentioend here) and many of them keep them on the web permanently.

So...if you see a story on Yahoo! News that you want to share, try to find the same story elsewhere and use it instead.

Is it just me or have you noticed the vast majority of webistes linked on StumbleUpon are miscategorized?

In fact to say some are miscategorized is a gross understatement.

SU is filled with people with a sense of humor, idiots or both.

You can breeze over the directions. The important part of them is @ #10 (it is highlighted in the screnshot). :)
