KnowMore.org is a wiki site about social issues such as ethics, environment, and labor rights. This is one on Apple Inc., and I was rather surprised to find that Steve Jobs would stoop so low as to use out-dated toxic chemicals/substances such as lead, which is well known to cause many defects. Jobs needs to pick up his act big time. BusinessWeek magazine voted Apple as having one of the Worst Boards of any public company.

Wow. Awesome photos of the huge waste and consumption by American society. Plastic bottle, reams of paper, aluminum cans, brown paper shopping bags, money spent on illegal wars ($12.5 on Iraq invasion every hour!)

Amazing how plum pox virus isn't even a threat and yet the biotech industry is hyping up the threat just to make a buck. Great to see Canada and particularly in this case Japan reject GM-foods.

Well the US debt and deficit in the largest in our time. It'll probably all come crashing down any hour now. Two or three more years left I guess. Cash in for gold and silver and stick it in the Bahamas or something. Go live in Europe or come Down Under to Australia or New Zealand, yeah we pay high tax but the weather and lifestyle is comparable if not better. Hehe.

I'd never have believed it. It makes so much sense. I originally thought it was odd how a school teachers aide would do such a thing. Getting angry over some money change for a public transport ticket a few moments before you're about to blow yourself up is a bit silly...like hello, get on with it! And now it all comes together when they have complete access. Amazing and brilliantly ingenious.
