HE'S FORGOTTEN HOW TO DREAM

he’s forgotten how to dream, he can’t find the reason why
he’s forgotten how to dream as every moment pases by
in his own prison he lies , hes forgotten how to dream
he can’t find the child within that left home long ago

he’s forgotten how to write, since he will no longer see
perhaps he looked to close before
now he’s forgotten how to give
the scar of giving too much
and all the blue skies turned black
to all he turns his back
he’s forgotten how to dream

he no longer wants
he no longer needs
no longer looks in the eyes of love and believes

he’s forgotten how to dream
he believes he knows the truth
it scared the life right out of him
now he’s forgotten how to feel

and all that’s left to be seen
is stacked in shelves on the wall
