Fucking unbelievable. People are completely fuckin nuts. One of the reasons I hate this season. It's supposed to be a time of joy, peace and love but the reality is that it's all about money, greed and "fuck your fellow man". A perfect example of what Christmas has become.

It's pretty rare to find an employer like this. One company I worked for many years ago was bought out and shortly after the buyout our CEO, who was transitioning out of the new company, was informed that all annual compensation increases would be frozen. Even though we didn't get raises everyone got a bonus that year. The reason? My outgoing CEO took his personal bonus and profit sharing cheques and distributed them among all of his employees. There were only a handful of people who knew about this and he was very adamant that this should not be made public knowledge to preserve morale.

Bosses like this are not the norm but they are the kind of people who I would not think twice about working for again and I would do whatever I could to ensure their success because I know they will have my back no matter what. That's the way it should be.

Yeah that's cool, but how did he get back to his own time? It's one thing to stumble on a random wormhole that takes the guy 30 or 40 years into the future but how did he find the same wormhole to get back "home"?

I can't say I fully understand this issue but the idea of using tax dollars to help out huge auto makers who refuse to respond to customer demands and then whine and cry like babies when profits start to fall is absolutely insane.

North American auto makers haven't improved the fuel efficiency of vehicles in over 20 years despite a steady rise in fuel prices. Even someone with a grade 6 education could see that building vehicles that chew up more fuel is a silly idea. But that's exactly what they did. I say that the automakers need to suck it up and change the business model.

I'm not at all surprised. I have a great deal of respect for medical professionals but from what I can see, Doctors don't have time to spend with each patient and do a proper diagnosis.

Too few doctors, too many patients and reluctance to accept alternative medical approaches as complimentary to traditional medicine means that people will be mis-diagnosed on a regular basis.

For those of you who don't know, Burton is like the Canadian Chuck Norris, except he'll kick your ass by pounding out a rhapsody cleverly disguised so it's not been heard before :-D.
