I'm fucking sick of political nonsense. There will always be two massive teams, liberals and conservatives, that both fail to understand the other, while ignoring their own massive gaps in logic. Meanwhile, the tiny percentage of people that actually think clearly are lost in the shuffle of nonsense. So, I'm taking politics off my interests.

It is full of brilliance, but also soooo much stupidity. Amazing. I suppose it's just a reflection of humanity.

My favorite new feature in StumbleUpon is being able to block godawful bad websites to avoid stumbling parts of them over and over. I use it most often for webcomics.

Barack Obama said, in his press conference Tuesday, "The third part of our strategy is to restart the flow of credit to families and businesses. To that end, we've launched a program designed to support the markets for more affordable auto loans, student loans and small-business loans, a program that's already securitized more of this lending in the last week than in the last four months combined."

Here's an idea. Instead of "restart[ing] the flow of credit," why not start the flow of actual money??? Like, actual tax cuts instead of this deck chair re-arranging bullshit. Gah, so annoying.

I think it's interesting, having just read two opposing blogs, how words are weapons. The people that refer to themselves as supporters of Intelligent Design label their foes as Darwinists. Meanwhile, people who call themselves Evolutionists call their opponents Creationists. Just like pro-lifer vs pro-choice. Both call their own side the pro- side... but I don't think either could legitimately be called anti-life or anti-choice. They just have different priorities. Oh, but Creationists do suck. :P

The world is ending, and reporters and editors valiantly put out their final editions amidst the chaos. Here are their front page headlines:

The New York Times: "World ends; story and analysis on page B11."

The Wall Street Journal: "Market down 5,000 points on news that world is ending"

New York Post: "BOOM!"

The Washington Post: "World ends; women and minorities hardest hit."

Wow, three anti-Sarah Palin stumbles in a row. First was a fake commercial about masturbating to her. Second was a T-shirt with her face and the caption "Mooselini," and then a cartoon strip talking about her basically turning the country into one giant gulag. Pretty amazing. I think I covered most forms of media in those three stumbles. Guess The Internet doesn't like her.

I accidentally watched a little bit of the Republican National Convention, before recoiling in horror and turning off the TV. Rudy Giuliani: does anyone else think he looks like the creatures from the Alien series of movies?

That giant forehead, those beady eyes, the sharp little teeth that seem crammed into his mouth, it's uncanny.
