		<p>I drive past this structure every day, great to see it posted at an abandoned site...The rock that it sits on is not sandstone as the article claims, it is a very weathered granodiorite. This whole area is a piece of the southern Sierra Nevada mountain range that has been moved north by the San Andreas and San Gregorio faults.</p>
