I've attended SONH and it's an amazing experience. And this year's teacher line-up looks outstanding. It's a great camp if you're a total beginner or an expert swing dancer. Check out the pics on the front page of the site :-).

Google Streetview finally comes to Australia. I'm amazed at the comprehensiveness here (I can check out the houses of my mates in smaller cities), and I've also enjoyed panning up to see the tops of bridges and such :-)

Robert pens a long but very thoughtful and sincere post on how tech blogging -- and indeed, much of blogging in general -- has failed us all. He higlights problems such as the priority of "First!!!" over strong analysis, of jumping to the latest shiny thing incessantly, of focusing on the business rather than the humanity of online communications.

I don't always agree with Robert, but he's spot on here. This is a great post worth reading and bookmarking.

Whoa. This Men's Health feature -- detailing the truth of what we may often put in our bodies -- is entertaining, informative, and downright sobering. Did you know, for instance, that eating the fried onion strings at Chili's is the recommended caloric equivalent of TWO WHOLE DAYS for a petite woman (or well over a recommended full-days worth of calories for a large guy)? I am not. touching. that. stuff. again! :o (equally shocking, by the way, is the nutritional info on many other sweet and savory favorites)
