I am starting a new tag! Today I was writing a post for my StumbleUpon blog (no, not this one...this one) and I was going to point out the tag "Stumbler Extraordinaire" which used to showcase some awesome stumblers. Unfortunately, although it still includes amazing people, a large portion of stumbles on it do not fall under my definition of extraordinaire. Soooo, on the very off chance that Stumbler Extraordinaire is such an everyday term that people accidentally used it to describe anything vaguely relating to stumbling, I decided to come up with a new tag that has even less chance of being accidentally used. Oottsimo is the tag I'm going to start using for stumblers whose blogs I especially enjoy. It stands for "one of the top stumblers in my opinion." Feel free to use the tag if you want, I'd love to see it (or any tag...if you have a better one, let me know) end up as a way to showcase the best pages on SU. I used to love stumbling through the Stumbler Extraordinaire tag back when it was first used and finding great stumblers that I'd managed to miss.

Sidenote: Wow! Three pink posts in a row (which means they're more my thoughts than just sharing a new page)...I think that might be a record for me. :)

Tag you're it.....

Okay, since I'm sending this out, I should probably do it myself :D

Let's see:

My real name is pronounced TG. Seriously! My Dad put letters together until he came up with 2 that he liked the sounds of, and thus my name was created. Hence Teeg, which has been a nickname for about as long as I can remember.

I still enjoy watching children's television programs like Mr. Rogers and Between the Lions. I don't even mind Power Rangers too much (which is good since I end up watching it just about every weekend).

I prefer not to eat anything with high frutose corn syrup in it, and you'd be amazed how many things contain it, including soda crackers and hot dog buns.

When I was in college, I considered doing a double major of Psychology and Mathematics. If it wouldn't have meant staying in school longer, I probably would have done it (I was tired of being a poor college student).

I have a very dry and literal sense of humor and word bloopers are my favorites. I used to LOVE when Reader's Digest has the section, Pardon, Your Slip is Showing.

I met my husband on-line in a Christian chat room. He laughed at the same things I did. :)

My husband and I knew we were going to be married before we ever saw each other face to face.

When we finally met for the first time, the news was filled with stories about an axe murderer who found his victim on the internet.

Okay, so 6 people...hmmm...Sihaya212, Nan, Carouselle, Pseudonym, Silver-surfer, BJPratt, Rod42...shoot...I can't promise I won't send it out to more, lol. :)

Sorry about the long hiatus. We had a nice summer and the little one had a great time getting together with friends and playing at the park. Now that it's getting cooler though, I'll try to be more active on here. :)

Sorry that I haven't been posting as much lately. I've gotten caught up in 2 games and I'm working on a project. LOL, that sounds like enough doesn't it. :) One of the games is Oblivion by Bethesda Software. I posted preview pictures a while back, and the game really is that good:

If you like RPGs but don't especially care for most of the MMORPGs out there, check it out. I'll warn you ahead of time that it's very graphic intensive though, and doesn't like Intel graphics cards, so be prepared.
