Last night at 9:00pm Google's official blog raised the flag indicating Google was getting into the OS race. So what is the OS? It's being Google Chrome OS and the operating system will center on Google Chrome and be targeted for netbooks (initially). It will run on both x86 as well as ARM chips and we are working with multiple OEMs to bring a number of netbooks to market next year.

The legendary L0phtcrack password cracker is returning and in the form of a new version 6. L0phtCrack disappeared from the market after @stake, a company which was formed by L0pht Heavy Industries and others, was taken over by Symantec. At the beginning of this year the original L0phtCrack team bought back the software rights from Symantec and have now upgraded the tool.
