2012 Blog: Sunspots. What Sunspots?

For the first time since 1913 we have had a month without a single sunspot. The 7 months prior to August averaged a very low 3 sunspots. This is the most likely cause for global temperatures dropping this year. Is it something we should be concerned about?

My own blog post - a disused aerial pole on a neighbour's house was observed to be vibrating in an unusual fashion on Tuesday 4th November 2008. What could have caused it? My money's on a UFO - especially as one was spotted in the area later that same day ...

Just so people know: I wasn't at ALL offended by Empress's review of one of my blog posts ( http://www.stumbleupon.com/url/www.bobkingsley.co.uk/blog%253Fp%253D193 ), and I never took her thumbs-down as a personal affront. I understood it was all about the post, and I responded to it from that angle in my follow-up blog post ( http://www.stumbleupon.com/url/www.bobkingsley.co.uk/blog%253Fp%253D196 ) - to which she gave the thumbs-up, bless her. It was the dramatic effect just one thumbs-down had on my page hits that was dismaying for a little blogger like me. That's all.

For three days, I was in seventh heaven as more and more friendly Stumblers helped my page hits escalate into the thousands -- and then along came a reviewer who stopped my party in its tracks.
