Hamdolsun! Ballı olsun!

Dün yazmıştım. Bugün devam edeceğim. THY'nin bütün hesapları; uçak alırken-uçak satarken-uçak kiralarken-harcama yaparken-kadroyu büyütürken, denetim altındaydı. İktidara kim gelirse THY yönetimine kendi adamlarını yerleştiriyordu fakat Yüksek Denetleme Kurumu, Meclis KİT Komisyonu ve Kamu İhale Kurumu, her yıl 3 koldan THY'yi gözetim ve denetim altında tutuyordu.

Çünkü devlet şirketiydi.

Halkın malıydı.

AKP de iktidara gelince aynısını yaptı. THY yönetimine Başbakan Tayyip Erdoğan'ın İstanbul Belediye Başkanı iken kadrosunda yer almış tanıdık-bildik-partidaşlarını getirdi. Yönetim Kurulu Başkanlığı'na Almanya'daki işçi paralarını batırmış Kombassan'da genel koordinatörlük yapmış Candan Karlıtekin'i, İSKİ'de daire başkanlığı yapan Rizeli Temel Kotil ile Rizeli Hamdi Topçu'yu yerleştirdi.

***

Ve düğmeye basıldı.

Ankara'da Başbakan'ın başkanı olduğu "Özelleştirme Yüksek Kurulu"nda 2006 yılının ilk yarısında alınan bir kararla THY'nin devlet malı hisse senetleri, özel kişilere satıldı. Satış gazetelerde ilanlarla duyurulmadı. Sadece İMKB ve SPK'nın haftalık bültenlerinde açıklama konularak satıldı. Halktan gizlendi. THY'de kamunun yani devletin payı yüzde 49.12'ye, borsadaki alıcıların payı yüzde 50.88'e çıkartıldı.

Ey okur!

Paylara dikkat et!

Aradaki farka bak!

Bak bak, otur ağla!

Yüzde 1 bile değil.

Fark yüzde 0.8...

Yani binde 8...

***

Denetim bitti.

THY'de padişahlık dönemi açıldı. Başbakan Tayyip Erdoğan'ın kadrosu olan üç kişi; THY Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Candan Karlıtekin, onun yardımcısı Hamdi Topçu (Fasılcı gazeteci Fehmi Koru'nun fasıl gecesi katılımcısı 2 arkadaşı) ve Genel Müdür Temel Kotil'in THY'nin yeni padişahlık döneminin ilk icraatı (işi) "hamdolsun eylemi" oldu.

Hem hamdolsun!

Hem ballı olsun!

Candan Karlıtekin, Hamdi Topçu ve Temel Kotil'in liderlik aldığı THY yönetiminin, denetimden kurtulunca yaptığı ilk iş; kendi maaşlarını, YPK boyunduruğundan hemen çıkartıp, 4 kat artırmak ve "mali yıl sonunda bu ücretlerden doğacak gelir vergisi tutarının tamamının THY tarafından, ücrete dahil edilerek karşılanması" kararını da almak oldu.

Maaşlarını 4 kat artırdılar.

Hamdolsun yaptılar.

Vergisini de THY'ye yüklediler.

Hamdolsunu balladılar!

***

Yerim bitti.

Diyeceğim bitmedi.

Biliyor musunuz? THY'nin yüzde 50'sini borsada çoğu yabancı özel kişilere kaça sattılar? 460 milyon liraya! THY'nin 2008 yılı 9 aylık vergi sonrası net kârı (Eylül bilançosuna göre) 833 milyon lira...

Ey okur!

Dikkat et:

76 yıllık devlet şirketi THY'nin yarı hissesini, sadece 9 aylık net kârının yarısına özel sektöre satmış oldular! Özelleştirmede "Hamdolsun"u "Ballı olsun"a çevirdiler.

Ten Rules for Being Human

by Cherie Carter-Scott

1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's yours to keep for the entire period.
2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, "life."
3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately "work."
4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.
5. Learning lessons does not end. There's no part of life that doesn't contain its lessons. If you're alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.
6. "There" is no better a place than "here." When your "there" has become a "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here."
7. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
9. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life's questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
10. You will forget all this.

1. If your throat tickles, scratch your ear!

When you were 9, playing your armpit was a cool trick. Now, as an adult, you can still appreciate a good body-based feat, but you're more discriminating. Take that tickle in your throat; it's not worth gagging over. Here's a better way to scratch your itch: "When the nerves in the ear are stimulated, it creates a reflex in the throat that can cause a muscle spasm," says Scott Schaffer, M.D., president of an ear, nose, and throat specialty center in Gibbsboro, New Jersey. "This spasm relieves the tickle."

2. Experience supersonic hearing!

If you're stuck chatting up a mumbler at a cocktail party, lean in with your right ear. It's better than your left at following the rapid rhythms of speech, according to researchers at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. If, on the other hand, you're trying to identify that song playing softly in the elevator, turn your left ear toward the sound. The left ear is better at picking up music tones.

3. Overcome your most primal urge!

Need to pee? No bathroom nearby? Fantasize about Jessica Simpson. Thinking about sex preoccupies your brain, so you won't feel as much discomfort, says Larry Lipshultz, M.D., chief of male reproductive medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine. For best results, try Simpson's "These Boots Are Made for Walking" video.

4. Feel no pain!

German researchers have discovered that coughing during an injection can lessen the pain of the needle stick. According to Taras Usichenko, author of a study on the phenomenon, the trick causes a sudden, temporary rise in pressure in the chest and spinal canal, inhibiting the pain-conducting structures of the spinal cord.

5. Clear your stuffed nose!

Forget Sudafed. An easier, quicker, and cheaper way to relieve sinus pressure is by alternately thrusting your tongue against the roof of your mouth, then pressing between your eyebrows with one finger. This causes the vomer bone, which runs through the nasal passages to the mouth, to rock back and forth, says Lisa DeStefano, D.O., an assistant professor at the Michigan State University college of osteopathic medicine. The motion loosens congestion; after 20 seconds, you'll feel your sinuses start to drain.

6. Fight fire without water!

Worried those wings will repeat on you tonight? "Sleep on your left side," says Anthony A. Starpoli, M.D., a New York City gastroenterologist and assistant professor of medicine at New York Medical College. Studies have shown that patients who sleep on their left sides are less likely to suffer from acid reflux. The esophagus and stomach connect at an angle. When you sleep on your right, the stomach is higher than the esophagus, allowing food and stomach acid to slide up your throat. When you're on your left, the stomach is lower than the esophagus, so gravity's in your favor.

7. Cure your toothache without opening your mouth!

Just rub ice on the back of your hand, on the V-shaped webbed area between your thumb and index finger. A Canadian study found that this technique reduces toothache pain by as much as 50 percent compared with using no ice. The nerve pathways at the base of that V stimulate an area of the brain that blocks pain signals from the face and hands.

8. Make burns disappear!

When you accidentally singe your finger on the stove, clean the skin and apply light pressure with the finger pads of your unmarred hand. Ice will relieve your pain more quickly, Dr. DeStefano says, but since the natual method brings the burned skin back to a normal temperature, the skin is less likely to blister.

9. Stop the world from spinning!

One too many drinks left you dizzy? Put your hand on something stable. The part of your ear responsible for balance -- the cupula -- floats in a fluid of the same density as blood. "As alcohol dilutes blood in the cupula, the cupula becomes less dense and rises," says Dr. Schaffer. This confuses your brain. The tactile input from a stable object gives the brain a second opinion, and you feel more in balance. Because the nerves in the hand are so sensitive, this works better than the conventional foot-on-the-floor wisdom.

10. Unstitch your side!

If you're like most people, when you run, you exhale as your right foot hits the ground. This puts downward pressure on your liver (which lives on your right side), which then tugs at the diaphragm and creates a side stitch, according to The Doctors Book of Home Remedies for Men. The fix: Exhale as your left foot strikes the ground.

11. Stanch blood with a single finger!

Pinching your nose and leaning back is a great way to stop a nosebleed -- if you don't mind choking on your own O positive. A more civil approach: Put some cotton on your upper gums -- just behind that small dent below your nose -- and press against it, hard. "Most bleeds come from the front of the septum, the cartilage wall that divides the nose," says Peter Desmarais, M.D., an ear, nose, and t

"Over a few decades, computers have evolved from being able to simulate only very simple patterns to being able to create virtual worlds with a lot of detail.

"If that trend were to continue, then we can imagine computers which will be able to simulate worlds perhaps even as complicated as the one we think we're living in.

"This raises the philosophical question: could we ourselves be in such a simulation and could what we think is the universe be some sort of vault of heaven rather than the real thing. In a sense we could be ourselves the creations within this simulation."

The Life Path 8 suggests that you entered this plane armed to lead, direct, organize and govern. You are very ambitious and goal-oriented. You will want to use your ambitions, your organizational ability, and your efficient approach to carve a satisfying niche for yourself. If you are a positive 8 you are endowed with tremendous potential for conceiving far-reaching schemes and ideas, and also possessing the tenacity and independence to follow them through to completion. In short, you were born to be an executive.

You know how to manage yourself and your environment. Your ability to judge the character and potential of the people around you is an asset used to your advantage. A large part of your success in life comes from how hard you work. This Life Path is the most prone to producing workaholics. But your ability to spot good people and engage them in your endeavors is a special trait not to be overlooked. There is an inspirational quality in your makeup which allows you to become a great leader. You are practical and steady in your pursuit of major objectives, and you have the courage of your convictions when it comes to taking the necessary chances to get ahead.

With the Life Path of the number 8 you are focused on learning the satisfactions to be found in the material world. The Life Path 8 produces many powerful, confident and materially successful people. Most of your concerns involve money and learning of the power that comes with its proper manipulation.

This Life Path is perhaps the one that is the most concerned with and desirous of status as an ultimate measure of success. You want to be recognized for your hard work and achievements. The attainment of honors and acceptance into the club of executive leadership is all important. For this, you may find yourself very well suited to compete in the business world or in the political arena.

In relationships, you are frank, honest, and steadfast. You may be very much in love, but watch that you are not too busy and preoccupied to show it. Being the lavish provider is not always an adequate substitute for showing your devotion and affection in more personal ways. You have a great need for close personal relationships to mitigate and somehow soften your nature. You must find the time for love and keep it as an important project in your life.

# Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
# Memorize your favorite poem.
# Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
# When you say, "I love you", mean it.
# When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye.
# Believe in love at first sight.
# Never laugh at anyone's dreams.
# Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
# In arguments, fight fair.
# Talk slow but think quick.
# Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
# Call your mom.
# Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.
# Don't let a little disagreement ruin a great friendship.
# When you realize you've made a mistake, act immediately to fix it.
# Marry someone you love to talk to. As you grow old together, your ability to communicate will be more important than their physical attributes.
# Spend some time alone.
# Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
# Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
# Read more books and watch less TV.
# Try your best to create a loving atmosphere in your home - this is a vital factor that will contribute significantly to your children's happiness and your family's harmony.
# In disagreements with loved ones, deal with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
# Read between the lines.
# Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.
# Be gentle with the earth...and yourself.
# Pray. There's immeasurable power in it.
# Don't trust someone who doesn't close their eyes when you kiss them.
# Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.
# If you make a lot of money, put it to use helping others while you are living. That is wealth's greatest satisfaction.
# Remember that the best relationship is one where your love for each other is greater than your need for each other.
# Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
# Do not forget that your character is your destiny.

How to Check Current Transfer Mode

1. Open Device Manager
2. Expand IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers
3. Double click on Primary IDE Controller or Secondary IDE Controller
4. Go to the Advanced Settings tab to see the current transfer modes. If you see anything besides UltraDMA-6, and especially if you see PIO Mode, then follow the steps below.

How to Force UltraDMA-6

1. Open up the Registry Editor.
2. Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
3. There are several sub-keys under this one, such as 0000, 0001, etc. You are interested in two of them that say Primary IDE Channel and Secondary IDE Channel.
4. Make the following changes to both of those keys:
1. Delete any attributes named MasterIdDataCheckSum or SlaveIdDataCheckSum. This resets the tracking for errors that Windows uses to determine when the transfer mode should be lowered.
2. Add an attribute with the name ResetErrorCountersOnSuccess and a DWORD value of 1. This tells Windows that it should lower the transfer mode when there are six consecutive errors instead of six cumulative errors.
3. If they exist, set the following keys to a hexadecimal value of ffffffff (eight F's). This will change the transfer modes to UltraDMA-6:
* MasterDeviceTimingMode
* MasterDeviceTimingModeAllowed
* SlaveDeviceTimingMode
* SlaveDeviceTimingModeAllowed
* UserMasterDeviceTimingModeAllowed
* UserSlaveDeviceTimingModeAllowed
4. Reboot your computer and check the devices to see if they are set to UltraDMA Mode 6.
