Hot off the press: Terrorists hate our freedoms. Again. To add to our existing many freedoms, a new freedom has been added - the freedom to tell when a potential terrorist female is carrying a dirty bomb, or "tampon". As of today, UK flight passengers are obliged bring no hand luggage. Where a potential terrorist female is at that delicate time of the month, she must carry her "dirty bomb" for all to see in a clear plastic bag.

Also, essential medicines must be placed in this bag. Embarrassing terrorist itch? Anybody carrying anti-fungals for *ahem* a personal invasion of fungal terrorists might best be advised to carry a hanky in their clear plastic bag to conceal this fact. Just try not to conceal it *too* well in front of MP5-carrying police brought in specially to ratchet up the fear thirty notches. GET DOWN! SHE'S GOT A KOTEX!

Terrorist photographers or musicians will also be overjoyed to hear that their expensive equipment will now be obliged to travel in the hold. Insurance companies are quick to point out that my travel insurance does not cover me as a terrorist photographer; oh, and I'll have to pay the extra for going over my weight limit. Complaining is what *terrorists* do. You're not a *terrorist*, are you, sir?

Thierry Henry. He's a legend. He's a skilled footballer. A cultured footballer. A cultured man. He's Mister Va-va-voom. He's well-spoken, educated. He campaigns against racism, works for charities. Not your usual everyday footballer. He graces the Premiership. He's a role model to all footy-playing kids.

Except after tonight's performance he's a disgrace. A cheat. He's simulated his side's way to the quarter finals. Three quarters of the way through the second half of France vs. Spain, he shoulder-barges Puyol from behind thirty yards from goal. It is he who commits the foul, yet he crumples to the turf clutching his face (which has come into contact with fresh air). Puyol gets a yellow card, and the resulting free kick sees Vieira head the ball into the back of the net to take the game to 2-1. Sure, Zidane ends up making it 3, but that's only because the game is so stretched from the ill-won free kick.

What makes all of this so much worse is the fact that Henry is the first to complain when he perceives injustice. I have vivid memories of reports of him smashing up a dressing room when he felt that Panathinaikos won a game by diving, rolling and time-wasting.

Thierry, I've lost all respect for you, as a player and as a man. I hope Brazil take you apart.
