Some modern Christmas and holiday songs. My favorite is probably The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl doing "Fairytale Of New York".

Two (of the many) things I like about Chrome are 1) each tab runs as a separate process and 2) the "Inspect Element" feature which is great for web developers. All in all, I think Chrome is a great browser and will become more popular as extensions start getting incorporated into the stable release. I'd like to see a "real" linux release so that I don't have to use wine to run it.

Some interesting (and beautiful) images of islands as seen from space. Found on wired.com

The image below is of the Galapagos Islands. The islands were formed by volcanic activity and each one is actually the top of a volcano.

... and the one below is of the hawaiian islands. Pretty cool!

More images of islands as seen from space can be found here.

This is a really good read. It's just one example of how Johnny Cash was never afraid to speak his mind and sing what was in his heart. He was the real deal.

A map of the island from the TV show "Lost" as compiled by fans. I don't even have cable but I have seen every single episode of "Lost" and I think it is one of the best TV series ever made and I could (and have) talked to people for hours about it. I hope the upcoming season meets or exceeds expectations. I want an ending that surprises everyone!

The Out Crowd on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures &Music Downloads

The MySpace page for The Out Crowd - one of my favorite bands - fronted by former Brian Jonestown Massacre bass player, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Matt Hollywood.

I love their simple, catchy melodies and "retro but still contemporary" sound. They wrote some great songs and, IMHO, kept the vibe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre going in an authentic way (unlike the many one-off bands that tried to do the same thing).

I hear that Matt Hollywood's new project is called The Rebel Drones but there's not much info about them yet. According to wikipedia, the band members are: "Dand Lee Strickland [2], Collin Hegna (of The Brian Jonestown Massacre), Jason "Plucky" Anchondo (of The Warlocks and Spindrift), William Slater (of Grails) and Peter Holmstrom (of The Dandy Warhols". Sounds like an all-star lineup!
