wednesday is karaoke night in Q. i've been going there for a year and a half now and it never changes. it's a shitty dive bar with dim lighting and rock music and drunks. like most dive bars. the huge difference is that it is the place where i feel most comfortable. mainly because there's no dress code in Q, there's no popularity contest, i never have to worry about being safe. there are basically no rules.

i never sing, and certainly not in public, but last night my friend and i decided that it was time to change that and stop being assholes who just sit at the table and laugh at other people's attempts to be freddy mercury. so we fucking did it. but, of course, it had to be special, so we karaokeed (yeah, i don't care if this word doesn't exist, i just invented it) on this. apparently it was scandalous, which is a good thing in Q because, thank fuck, everyone started to join and sing with us - they did themselves a huge favor for not actually letting us sing alone. well, they did their ears a huge favor.

there's just something nice and heart warming about a huge group of people singing together i want to fuck you like an animal!!!.

i took a taxi home yesterday after work and i was pissed off because something shitty happened at work.

of course the fucking taxi driver was chatty, it's just my luck to find such "friendly" people always when i am absolutely not in the mood for small talk. and even though i fucking hate small talk and suck at it. anyway, he was being friendly and stuff and asking me what is wrong, i said "to hell with shit" and "fuck it, might as well go to hell" and "goddamn it". he said i shouldn't talk like that so i said "well maybe we shouldn't talk at all and focus on the driving".

after i calmed down a bit i noticed he had all these "jesus is great" and "god loves us all" stickers and brochures around in his car.

uncomfortable silence in taxi is uncomfortable.
