Cute but i don't see this catching on any time soon.

First you won't be able to beat the cost of mouse/keyboard, but let's say you can get it cheaply, it will have to sell with the screen you buy to match it's resolution and require a change for every new screen.

Also, no matter how brilliant you get to use all your finger, you will confuse people that are going to try and figure out which finger is which on the screen and always having to recenter their "pointers".

As for zoom functionality with 1-2-3-4-5 fingers, well, it's called the roulette on your mouse and if need be, meta keys!

So yeah, cool concept, ... still need a lot of improvement to make any sense / advantage at all. Maybe try doing a video showing how this benefits anyone beyond zooming / scrolling features which we can easily and cheaply do today.

How about trying to integrate current cell device as mouse/keyboard add-on... they have multi/single touch screens, compass, accelerometers, GPS, and whatnot ... you can get a full AR setup with them!
Just use bluetooth an a software add-on to integrate them, that would make more sense. Maybe trying to link the input features with some other data exchange that can be carried with you, just a thought.
