The bottom line of these combined reports show the Black dollar is still strong, even in these bad economic times...and advertisers know it! How much of the Black dollar is being spent in the Black community is a whole other story, but it is good to see national advertisers spending hard dollars on Black media.

I recently saw this posted in another social networking site.

Today we are flooded by memberships, by people wanting to link to us, but where's the time and the inclination?

I regularly receive this update from this forum, but very rarely read it - most times it goes to spam, but what the hell - is it worth reading? Looking at the number of entries here. outsourcing appears to be the rage, but would you give your accounts to someone who connects to you here? I wouldn't because I don't know them, do you?

Last year I couldn't handle a project so I met someone through a forum, not unlike this, and I set up the deal with Voiceville Call Center in Cebu, Philippines, and we made a nice contract - they double crossed me and did not pay me the commission.

The only way i would outsource the project today would be if I could keep control, wouldn't you?

What is your take on doing business using this new "rage" of social networking?
