The Simpsons has been dropped from morning TV in Venezuela after being deemed unsuitable for children” is one of today’s headlines from BBC news. It amazed me that paranoid lunatic Hugo Chavez didn’t drop it earlier.

This news reminded me to a Nestl� campaign with Bart Simpson. Bart is the most prevalent Simpsons character for the show on memorabilia such as T-shirts, car decals, cups, lunchboxes etc. He appeared in numerous television commercials for Nestl�’s Butterfinger candy bars for more than 10 years with the slogan “Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger!” The campaign was very successful, because Nestl� used Bart the right way.
