Kim Hyoung Jun and his wife.

Kim says: "The title 'Healing' describes the character in full. She has the ability to purify and resuscitate. I hope people who see this picture feel what I was trying to express. I hope she could heal the hearts of many people who see the picture."

I find this picture deeply evocative, very beautiful and indeed healing.

Bob Marley & The Wailers:

Bob Marley passed away 28 years ago today. So it is only
appropriate that I post the first song I ever heard him sing.

He was relatively unknown then. But a live performance
of No Woman No Cry in London in 1975
catapulted Bob and The Wailers into our hearts and stardom.

The exact meaning of this apparently sad song about poverty
and the death of a friend has led to much debate. But
it was an instant classic and remains so today.

The late, great John Lennon and The Plastic Ono Band
were at their best in the Imagine album which I purchased
as a cassette on its day of release.

I had no idea then of the monumental influence this great
song would exert on future generations.
