One of the key elements for building and maintaining your reputation is to keep an ongoing eye open for some statement being made that might effect your reputation, by some unknown troll with an agenda counter. Yothfy is a tool suited to answer this ongoing question - "did someone just say something I need to know of?" This is not the complete answer to building and maintaining your reputation, but it does put a "scout" on your side.

"With all the twittering of 140 characters - sometimes the shout outs need to be longer - even sometimes it's more about how you say your shout out makes it more important than just texting. The real advantage of Twitter is that you have followers that you can connect with all at the same time"

If Twittering is new to you or you want to understand what you can make of those telling the world about themselves in 140 characters at a time, then is presentation is designed to answer these questions. Over a period of time I have offered quick glimpses into applications that are designed to promote and engage in online conversations - this is another along those lines.

From the page: "And yesterday, I cried my last tears, after I watch the venomous, vile, and vitriolic display at the McCain-Palin rally unfold over the last few days. I was raised in a Southern Baptist church, and I was taught as a young child when things look bleak and you are backed up against a wall you just let go and let God. "

Starting now, it will be easier for you to talk to NPR, for them to talk to you and for you all to talk to each other. They are making it possible for anyone who registers at their NPR Community to comment on a story and to create a profile page where many interesting things can happen. NPR is providing a forum for infinite conversations on NPR.org. Their hopes are high. Their hoping that the conversations will be smart and generous of spirit

From the page: "Much need not be said - except that Sarah continues to parody herself. I for one do not believe she should remove herself from the McCain campaign. Not because I think she is qualified representative - cause I do not. My reason is simple -
1) cheap laugh
2) negative drag on McCain's possibilities of winning the election
3) hits on my blog"
