Another quick update to http://www.onedollarjackpot.com, we had an entry on the exact same minute that we updated the site. So they win!

But if you're into 80's fashion - I'm sure you are :o then today's comp will get you going. Check it out and put up an entry!

Also, the entry form has been updated with a wonderful little word count - no longer so annoying to count all your words :)

OneDollarJackpot.com has received mostly good feedback over the last day or so - I launched it and with some great feedback from people have made some improvements to the site and particularly the privacy policy and awareness of what will happen with the entry.

I'm glad to say that the Blog ( http://www.onedollarjackpot.com/blog/ ) is now installed and you can receive updates via RSS! Just click on the RSS button in the menu. I'm still open to feedback - more content on the site will be coming, especially about what to buy for $1, and information on those people in our world who would be doubling their income if they won the competition. THAT is crazy - living on $1 a day (or less!).

I recently ran an ad campaign to test the capabilities of Facebook ads. It didn't go too well - and that was what I was expecting. I've been reading numerous reports around the web about Stumble's great advertising model. I think over the next week or so I'll be doing another campaign to see what happens.

Have you had any experiences advertising online with social media/networks? I'd love to hear your results or experiences :)
