Today I created two new groups which I thought would make great additions to StumbleUpon:

SEO/SEM, a group aimed at search engine marketing professions -- and just about everyone else who deals with SEO, SEM and interactive advertising. I was actually surprised that this group did not already exist. Nice to add some more business-related stuff to SU, I think it's of fantastic benefit.

Digital Literature, a group that I created to discuss fictional works created for the web and other digital media. I got the idea for this when I came across the Who Is Benjamin Stove? website on the 18th and thought it'd be great to have a book club type atomosphere to critique it in. I've had a few ideas for fictional websites knocking around in my head for the last few years, and I'd love to see and discuss the work that people are doing.

Hoping to see some people join up in the next few weeks ahead!

I've been toying around with Stumble Upon for the last couple of days now. I've been off work sick and having this new toy has been a much appreciated distraction. Finally starting to figure out how everything works. It certainly beats daytime tv!

Kudos to the surfers out there who have found some pretty incredible sites. I've been Googling certain topic areas for the last several months and haven't ever come up with as many good sites as consistantly as I have with Stumbled Upon. There are some real winners in that DB, thank you to everyone for adding them!

This is my first real foray into any sort of blogging endeavour. I pretty much packed up by own personal site in '99 when I got a real job. Since that time I haven't really had much time for personal stuff on the web. When you've dealt with the myriad problems facing a website like nowtoronto.com all week the last thing you really want to do is come home and code up a page.

I love Stumbled Upon though! And I'm really enjoying poking around all of the pages and adding the few of my favourite sites that aren't already in the DB and offering up comments for those that are.
