		<p>I guess it won&#39;t be long before machine translation/ interpretation gets to the point where you can just talk to anyone no matter what their mother language and be reasonably well understood. There are still bound to odd instances of mis-communication but this is where we&#39;re headed. I wonder whether we want light beamed onto our retinas when we could have that information displayed on spectacles or handheld devices.</p>

		<p>Unusual offerings from McDonald&#039;s around the world. I&#039;ve actually tried the rice burger they used to sell here in Taiwan and it&#039;s pretty good, I have to say!  They should add KLG to the list of imitation fast food. KLG looks suspiciously like KFC. There are in fact many branches around Taiwan.</p>
