700 years before the birth of the historical Jesus, the ancient prophet Isaiah foretold his birth.
Isaiah 7:14 (Amplified Bible)
Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel [God with us].
Isaiah 9:6 (Amplified Bible)
For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.

Merry Christmas everyone! Have a blessed holiday season and a prosperous Happy New Year!

"The death of Lincoln was a disaster for Christendom. There was no man in the United States great enough to wear his boots and the bankers went anew to grab the riches. I fear that foreign bankers with their craftiness and tortuous tricks will entirely control the exuberant riches of America and use it to systematically corrupt modern civilization." - Otto von Bismarck, German Chancellor (1815-1898), after Lincoln assassination.

The average age of the world's great civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage." -Alexander Tyler, writing about the fall of the Athenian Republic

Remember that history tends to repeat itself. That is why we really need to pray for our nation. Most of the time when a country begins to face economic problems, (we are now officially in a recession) there is a tendency to go to and look to war to get peoples minds off the current problems, unite them and bring a boost to the economy which a war time economy brings. This has happened all through history. In the second to last debate after the small Iranian boats approached US ships, the candidates were asked what they would do. All of the Republican candidates, except for one, jumped to the thinking that we should blow them "to hell". "Mike Huckabee" Ron Paul is the only one that said the we should not rush to judgment and wait to get all the facts. As it turned out, he was right. The voice that said "we are going to kill you. etc" turned out to be a "ghost "voice from unknown sources and there was also a question of jurisdiction. If we do not put a person of sound thinking and a sense of history, like Ron Paul, into office., we are heading for war, loss of rights and a sophisticated form of slavery.

As of 9:03 pm Central Time Ron Paul was winning the Fox text poll at 38% and as usual Fox is stating their own poll must be wrong. Hannity stated Paul was "stacking the deck" when Fox has repeatedly stated that their poll system has integrity. Go to RonPaul2008.com learn about Dr. Paul's message and find out why many candidates are starting to agree with Paul's views without mentioning him.(We will see how long Fox keeps up their poll results this time. Why does Fox have text polls if they refuse to believe their own results?)

Scientific fact is redefined to promote de-humanizing belief systems. Examples of how science is twisted to push a specific social or political belief:

"Is Pregnancy Really Normal?" Warren M. Hern, M.D. writes that pregnancy "is a venereal disease treated by evacuation of the uterine contents."

"Abortion as a Treatment for an Unwanted a Pregnancy: The Number Two Sexually Transmitted Disease".
By Willard Cates, Jr. M.D.

"We are unable to put babies in the class of dangerous epidemics, even though that is the exact truth."
Mary S. Calderone, M.D.

"The point is still under debate as to whether pregnancy is a disability, a disease, a choice or a right." Rachel Cressman, former program director of Planned Parenthood.
