Rather than try to find more work in Japan, this foreigner has decided to become a wandering bum. Armed only with a notebook, a cell phone that may or may not work depending on handouts received, and whatever he can carry, Isaak is going to try and make the 1600km trek from Hiroshima to Hokkaido in Japan.

Crazy doesn't even begin to describe this ....

I'm not seeing a problem with the "its" and "it's" usage in the article, wvwvwwvvw. Perhaps you could leave a comment for the author which shows a clear example of the oft-misunderstood grammar.

The Chicago Tribune recently ran an article discounting a position held by long-time comedian-turned-sociologist Bill Cosby that rap music and hip-hop culture is partly to blame for the "moral breakdown of the family" unit. Associate Professor at the Chicago State University, Yan Dominic Searcy, cuts right to the chase in the piece and, oddly enough, his position almost mirrors my own when it comes to the validity of Cosby's recent book, "Come On People: On the Path From Victims to Victors," co-authored by Alvin Poussaint.

Summer is just around the corner, and the staggering heat of the Japanese sun will soon bake us into exhaustion with its ceaseless presence. Last year the mercury reached 43.2 Celcius in some parts of Gifu prefecture, and this past April we were treated to termeratures in the low 30's. Aside from a few weeks in February, both the weather and the temperature have been quite enjoyable. So, with the beautiful climate and temperate weather, why the heck is my PDA freezing so much?

What an odd way to start a post where I'm officially mentioning the creation of a new mobile WordPress application called Embink....

Long distance relationships can be incredibly difficult and, just like local relations, come with a host of hurdles to overcome. Just as one expects from any serious relationship, being so far from a loved one requires such pious virtues as honest, love, respect, communication and, above all, trust. While some people can make the move to go from long-distance to a local couple, some cannot. However, some seem to have an altogether different problem: they can only be a long distance couple.

A friend of mine in Jamaica has this problem and he's asked me to put into words some of his painful realizations over the last few months.
