WebMynd & A better way to search

WebMynd collects & enhances your web mind

Roughly tested this brand new Firefox search add-on and I must say it is a winner on the 1st glance. WebMynd optionally stores your browsing history and enhances Google and some more search result pages by adding a right side sidebar inside the page showing more results from a stack of services eg delicious.com, YouTube and many more.

The resulting added search result sidebar is interactive, easy to handle and pretty smart.

The browsing history is deactivated by default. The history is searchable and has two slick presentation modes: Reel & Grid.

Are there security issues on a 2nd glance you ask? Yes data is transmitted but, well, I have no idea yet but I hope some clever soul will test the service and ring the alarm loud enough for me to hear if something is wrong.

Recommended for testing. Paranoids should keep their fingers away.

That photo says it all :-)

"The Congo's fish diversity thrilled the scientists. "What we're talking about here is like a species factory--it's a species pump," team leader Melanie Stiassny told National Geographic Television & Film."

Btw: Excuse the use of 'Kongo' in the title. That's the German word for Congo.
