It has come to our attention through information that we've received that there was a person informing to the FBI about numerous individuals involved in the Wild Rose Rebellion group and University Of Iowa Anti-War Committee. He has since been outed, confronted and ousted from our community. The purpose of this statement is to warn all radical organizations and people, that we don't have personal ties with, across the country about the following person. Anything identifying or useful pertaining to him we have attempted to include.

Age: Late Twenties

From: Michigan, Iowa City

Background: Claimed he served in the Air Force as a MP stationed in Japan, then became a Conscientious Objector.

Interests: Considers self a Platonist, sword fighting, philosophy, informing for FBI

Characteristics: clean cut, dry sense of humor, known to be problematic (overly flirty and pushy) when it comes to female bodied people.

For some reason, I'm noticing a really fucking annoying trend. I seem to stumble onto a lot of women's blogs on here and it's nothing but pictures of women. Women looking all dreamy eyed, women in bondage gear, women with their clothes falling off, etc. And I'm sick of it. Seriously. Come on. Find some quality. Sex isn't everything. I'm sick of women being presented as these soft, sexual beings with no thought in their head.

7. Male bashing
They are suggesting here that it is not funny when women get hurt but hilarious when men are hurt. This is extremely untrue. The media glorifies violence towards women. Every night cop shows depict women being tortured, raped, murdered and beaten. Horror movies center around plots of male mass murderers hunting down a group of teenagers but the most gruesome deaths are generally left to the women. Those scenes are drawn out. The men's deaths are almost inconsequential. And people find this funny! People laugh at these movies! In Saw II when a woman is pushed into a hole filled with needles, this is laughed at by many.

8. False accusations
Rape has the same rate of false accusation as any other crime. The only difference is that rape cases are picked up more by the media than any other crime. I have no clue where this person gets the statistic of 40% of all accusations are proven false. They never cited their source, as any credible video would. Maybe that is the amount of how many of thrown out of court. But a dropped case does not mean the person was innocent. Rapes are very hard to prove and are still not taken seriously in this country.

9. Title IX
The idea that women being given equal funding for their sports teams does not make a men's team fail. It only means that their is actual equality. What is wrong with that??

10. Boys in schools
Actually, it has repeatedly been proven that boys get more time devoted to them in class. They are called on more often and are depicted in textbooks far more than girls. Women are going to college at the same rate as men. Again, how is equality unfair? Women still lag far behind men in fields that pay well: business, science and the mathematics. And fields that women enter are generally disrespected, despite a college degree. A prime example is nursing.

11. A lack of men's studies courses.
Actually, most departments focus on men. History is entirely about rich men in ___ society at ___ time. The sciences hold to high esteem the works of men but ignore women's contributions. Have you ever heard of a female philosopher? It's not that they're not out there, just that they're not talked about.

McCain has yet again shown how little he knows about the world. Not only has he repeatedly confused Shi and Sunni Muslims but now he is talking about countries THAT NO LONGER EXIST. How can we expect him to keep us safe if he doesn't even know what is going on in the world? How bad is he going to insult the leaders of the world by not even knowing what country they lead?

I realized that we care more about lil boys being victimized than we do little girls. My example is gym teachers. If a male gym teacher is even suspected of being gay, he is also suspected of being a pedophile. He could easily lose his job for his sexual orientation. It bothers people to think that a homosexual gym teacher could be oogling the boys. But it doesn't seem to occur or bother anyone to think that a heterosexual gym teacher could be doing the same to the females in class. So is it more tragic that boys could be victimized over girls?

A woman, on the other hand, is assumed to be a lesbian if she is a gym teacher. And although it makes people uncomfortable, people more feel it violates gender roles than that she could be abusing or "looking at" the females in class.

Also, I thought about the boy scouts. A troop leader has to be a heterosexual. A homosexual would not be allowed to be a part of the boy scouts. Now, either there is the same policy with the girl scouts and no one has made a fuss about it or they're more laid back.

And then, if you look at how our society treats rape victims and perpetrators, it really makes you wonder how much women are valued in this society.

So, is it that we assume that homosexual males are more likely to abuse than their female counterparts? It's definitely a common opinion. Or is it that we just don't care if women/females/girls are sexually abused by heterosexuals?
