Interesting. The essence of contemporary Manila compressed into 48 hours from an outsider's point of view.

Wow. Um. I know Carte Noir is just trying to market their coffee to women by hiring handsome actors to read aloud seductive passages from literature, but I find myself completely engaged.

Reading this blog makes me hungry. I also like its unapologetic tone of "this is made to TASTE good and fill you up, heavens be damned!"

Also, both my grandmothers happened to be very good cooks, so I tend to trust the culinary sensibilities of that particular generation.

Wow, haven't used this in a while. But if there's anything I'd've wanted to let people know about the past few months, it's this game!

"Host Master and the Conquest of Humor" is a flash-based point-n-click adventure game modeled after the old LucasArts adventures we know and love, such as Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken, Monkey Island, etc. The main character is Tim Schafer, who wrote a lot of the scripts/jokes/puzzles in those old games, but now he's in a bind, and you have to help him find 22 jokes before he goes on stage!

The endings differ, depending on how many jokes you manage to find. And just to make it timely again, a NOTE: there's an unlockable moonwalk mode.

TinEye is like a reverse Google image search: upload an image, and it'll help you identify it. Not perfect, but it's workable, and a sign that we're on our way to omnipotent robots!
