Another fine day here in Maine. Wow, all kinds of computer problems lately, but I've been working hard to keep ole puter running. I need to reinstall my op system but alas I lack a disk. Anyway, life is good enough for now, not great mind you but heading uphill at least. It's better to be traveling uphill then not traveling at all. I've had the misfortune of being in places most people will never see, and I don't recommend seeing them. No pictures either. Hmmm. What an odd mood I'm in just now. Perhaps food will help. Pause. There much better. My neighbor was an asshole to me this morning for no good reason, so that may have something to do with it. Oh well, you all have a nice day, week, month, year, and lifetime.

Again I really have nothing to say. Having just turned down a beer (I don't like to drink too often) I feel rather good. The whole Creation Science thing...I don't really dwell on such things although I used to at one time. I've read through the entire bible (NIV)3 times. Once from start to finish, once was NT first OT second, then the third was just from study so I perhaps didn't read some of the who made who stuff. I don't really practice faith the way I was brought up to do - going to church weekly and any other function during the week. I feel God in my life and I feel His love like one can feel if any one loves them. Do I pray? Yes, certainly but not like getting on my knees with folded hands. No because I don't have to. Christ did what no other could in death. He was and is God, the God of the bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Joseph. The God that created the entire universe and much more. He, in the Person of the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary at 13 years of age and she gave birth to a fully human boy. The fact that He was able to perform miracles has more to do with His faith in the Father than of any extraordinary "power". He Himself said that all that He did was due to the fact that He and the Father were One, but that He was just as human as you and I, capable of sin should He so choose. Man has every right in the universe to not even believe in ANY god, let alone Him. All He asks is that we believe that He is Who He says He is. God had Himself born, it's as simple as that. Jesus, the "Son of God" is a misnomer. Probably an interpretation issue. Anyway, Jesus, as God, relied on the Father to put the punishment man deserves for rejecting his Creator (sin) onto Himself at the moment of death. He took that punishment on purpose because He loves that which He created, even though we don't always love Him back. To prove Himself He appeared as He really was to hundreds of credible witnesses and the books of the New Testament were subsequently written by those witnesses and Paul, who saw Him pesonally some years later. But I digress. Death could not hold Him because He was God. People always wonder why God is punishing them. He's NOT!! What we suffer in this life is just the way it is. Since Jesus was on the earth God has made a new deal with man. If we don't want Him around then so be it. Horrible things happen and we ask why. It's because WE have destroyed that which He made and He's basically going to let it play itsef out before He steps in. And when that happens is still a long way out, so don't hold your breath. Believe me it's going to get worse before it gets better. And man will continue to miss the point, which is that it's okay, God has it all under control. You don't have to like it because He built the thing, and He loves you regardless of what you think of Him. In fact, He loves you so much that He took the bullet for you and would do it again were it necessary. You didn't even know or care that there even was a bullet to be taken.

I like the stumbleupon concept alot. My sister is Mary Whelen, and she introduced me to it. I like to play video games in my spare time but I'd probably spend my whole life playing games if I could get away with it.
