On Friday I jumped in my car and went for a drive, got back today...this Kogelberg (Kogel Mountain) is on the way to Kleinmond with Gordon's Bay behind me...(Monday) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kogelberg

This was taken on Saturday, it's Simons Town, and in the background is False Bay http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_Bay . The mountains on the horizon, just visible, are the same ones you see a close up of in the top image... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simons_Town

I went for a walk late this afternoon and found this baby seal sleeping on a rock. It's quite small, no more than 10 kilos. There's a seal colony about 12 kilometres away from this point but I'm not sure what it's doing in this area...it may be lost...
