It has been a busy year. Haven't been online much and don't expect to be for some time. I miss blogging, playing my games, writing in the various fora I belong to and talking with friends. Slow season will be coming up after the winter holidays, hopefully I will be able to get back in touch then.

You simply would not believe how much my life has changed while I've been gone!

I'm not sure how long we will have internet. A couple months ago, there was a terrible storm in this area. Everyone lost electricity, we were lucky and only lost if for a week but others lost it for much longer.

I am not sure if it is the pc, our electric line, the cable company or some other thing but the result is that we can't seem to keep our computer up and running.

We have slowly been weeding out the possibilities but have yet to find the cause. So until things are working properly, posting will be erratic.

I've been a bit busy the past couple of weeks, even if I haven't dropped in on any of the forums, I've been around. What have I been doing?

I've been loading poetry, short stories and essays into my blog. Hard to believe there is now over 100 entries. Not bad, since I started the thing a little over a month ago.

Yesterday I resigned myself ot the fact that my youngest child should go back to school, instead of learning at home. I just don't have the energy I thought I had, to get him interested in subjects and get him up to speed.

I know I've done a good job, as he is now ahead of his grade in reading and at least at entry level in math. Before I started, he was at least two years behind in everything but he is a stubborn little guy and no longer will try to learn with me.

*sigh*

I miss having him in the house.

Spent some of my free time today, moving poetry I've written in other blogs to my vox site (Sorrow of the Kelpies). Over the course of the next few weeks, I am hoping to get the stuff I have on disk, onto the blog as well. After that, it will be typing the rest into posts.

Yeh, I may have time before spring to write a story or two and maybe a poem as well! *wink*

The children are taking over the pc this week, so I will be lucky to have more than an hour or two, spread throughout the day. I'll drop by the forums and try to stumble a few sites. I figure you won't see much of me online until after the New Year begins.
