Contrary to what is advertised. The New SU does not seem more social. Taking away friends and changing it to mutual subscribers is not an improvement. It's more impersonal and much less satisfying.

I for one dislike people who ask to be a friend and then turn out to only want you to subscribe or stumble their pages. Much as that maybe good for their numbers it's not good for sharing. It makes one feel manipulated at best and used at worst.

I prefer the old version. Make new friends and keep the old. One is silver the other is GOLD.

I also will miss being able to post messages like this. I want to still be able to blog to my site. Thank you.

After the Group of 20 summit in London, Obama said: "We exercise our leadership best when we are listening . . . when we lead by example, when we show some element of humility and recognize that we may not always have the best answer."

I envy not in any moods
The captive void of noble rage,
The linnet born within the cage,
That never knew the summer woods:

I envy not the beast that takes
His license in the field of time,
Unfetter'd by the sense of crime,
To whom a conscience never wakes;

Nor, what may count itself as blest,
But stagnates in the weeds of sloth;
Nor any want-begotten rest.
When a great person hears of the Way
he follows it with devotion
when an average person hears of the Way
he doesn't know if it's real or not
when a small person hears of the Way
he laughs out loud.
if he didn't laugh
it wouldn't be the Way
hence these saying arose

A Dream within a Dream
by: Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849)

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow--
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream:
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand--
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep
While I weep--while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

Written by Harry MacGregor Woods

Oh! We ain't got a barrel of money
Maybe we're ragged and funny
But we'll travel along
Singing a song
Side by side

I don't know what's a-comin' tomorrow
Maybe it's trouble and sorrow
But we'll travel the road
Sharing our load
Side by side

Thru all kinds of weather
What if the sky should fall
Just as long as we're together
It really doesn't matter at all

When they've all had their quarrels and parted
We'll be the same as we started
Just traveling along
Singing a song
Side by side

(Repeat last two verses)
