First Facebook, now Stumbleupon is trying to be Twitter as opposed to being a place that is cohesive for writing meaningful posts in an attractive setting. I don't want my page to be a list of sites, I want it to be my reviews because that's what matters. I'm also really concerned with the changes in friends that I won't be connected to their recommendations. I'm also really not a fan of the design- it looks like it's trying to be iStumble. It's possible that the functionality is really great, the idea of a search makes me happy, but this new version has taken away all my desire to use SU. And It keeps switching back to beta every time I use it.

Stephen Wiltshire, an incredible artist with a photographic mind, sketches New York City. His talent blows me away.

Maybe the darn guvmint has no values and is trying to corrupt poor South Carolina! Or maybe they've realized that demographically, gay people tend to have a lot of disposable income. Gay couples usually pull in dual incomes, without having to support children. Why wouldn't you want to attract that to your city?

As an aside, I think we did it better.

The Danger of Celebrating Halloween

Wow, I was so misinformed! Halloween is truly evil. It invites human/animal orgies, and the rape of babies! And there is nothing "Fun" about "Fun Sized" candy that has been cursed by witches! I'll be sure not to celebrate at all so that the devil doesn't mistake me for an occult worshipper! Thank God for holidays that have no pagan ties like Christmas and Easter!

Here's a decent look at some herbs from TCM that have been shown to help with cancer. While knowing about the herbs themselves is important, the message I really got from this site is twofold.

One, we are all individuals with different genetics, different diets, different life experiences. What works for one person will not necessarily for another, even if they have the same disease.

Two, you cannot isolate one particular "active" part of the herb. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, there is synergy at work.

How to Make Chocolate at Home with Virgin Coconut Oil

Want want want. Considering the health benefits we're learning about coconut oil and the antioxidants in the cocoa, this could actually be a fairly healthy snack. I'd try using stevia instead of sugar, possibly skip the coconut since it sounds tricky to find, and put in walnuts for some EFAs. Nummy!

I must admit, I'm amused at editors photoshopping models in order to fatten them up. There must be a happy medium somewhere, between "plus size" and these rather sickly looking people.
