Greetings Artists, Art Lovers & Friends!

I hope your summer was an enjoyable one full of inspiration, fun and relaxation. The Austrian seminar was one of the finest groups of the last 11 years, indeed, a particularly talented, effervescent and above all - harmonious creative community. After the seminar I had the pleasure to return to Italy once again, treating `Mama Rose' to a trip on the Adriatic, and securing a publisher from Bologna for my second book from my trilogy on Art & Spirit. This one is entitled: "PROMETHEAN FLAMES - Rekindling and Re-visioning the Creative Fire", which is expected to be released by June, 2008 (in English), with a Foreword by Prof. Michael Schwartz.

I also spent some time in Italy investigating sites for the project, VILLA VISIONARIA, which will be a private residential art-sanctuary for a small community of creative workers, and will have an academy/gallery component that is open to the public 6 -8 weeks of the year.

Below is the 2008 agenda of seminars, exhibitions, and book publications, and all specific dates/costs are now nailed down. Please check out the new announcements from artist friends too, their new websites and exhibitions, including a major exhibition and catalogue from De Es Schwertberger in Vienna, very exciting!

Wishing you all the best,
"The Classic Mish- (or "Mixed") Technique of Egg Tempera & Oil Painting" with Prof. Phil. Cynthia Re'Robbins teaching the secrets of under-painting the first week; on an egg emulsion ground, followed by a two week master class with Prof.Phil and Cynthia. Eureka Springs, AR, is an undiscovered and beautiful little "art community" town in the Ozarks. It is indeed a fairy-tale-like magical spot. This will be the first seminar Prof. Phil has held in the USA in 13 years.......don't miss this opportunity!

Northwest Arkansas is one of the "best kept secret" places. The densely wooded hills, winding roads, many lakes and rivers all make for a pristine setting. In the midst of the Ozark Highlands sits a Victorian village so charming you will think you have stepped back in time and into a fairy tale. There are no traffic lights, people don't have to lock their doors, and all he neighbors know one another. Even though it is small, there is a very high quality and variety of restaurants, shopping, accommodations, art and music.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS FOR FIRST 10 PARTICIPANTS REGISTERED: Reservations for accommodations are separate from TUITION DEPOSIT.

For our seminar we have co-created a package-deal with breakfast and lunch included at a charming Bed & Breakfast called THE PIEDMONT. It is less than 100 yards from the fabulously large studio space where we will be painting. The Piedmont is giving us all 10 of their rooms, so register early to get this great deal. Rooms at the Piedmont will range from $70 - $120 a day depending on room size, jacuzzi, etc. (with the 2 meals included) and Wi-Fi is available for your wireless!

CONTACT "Pat" at the Piedmont to secure your reservation/best by telephone: 479-640-7777, by Email: piedmont@ipa.net
