I really like my Last.Fm keeping track of my music. But I hate it that the scrobbler is soo buggy of late. It "forgets" to scrobble loads of tracks every so often, which means my charts are not really representative. But well hey, they still give you some idea of what I listen too.

Truth is, as I can never choose between two good things, I also like Pandora a lot. Therefore the best thing ever (well at least concerning pandora and last.fm, that is) is this really cool Firefox extension that scrobbles tracks I play on the Pandora web player so they are also added to Last.FM :) Jay! The best of two worlds

Yup, youīre right. Itīs been a while since I posted here. Came back from holidays two weeks ago, but have hardly stumbled since. Of course I could post some holiday pics here instead... that is, if I had any. I did some awesome rockclimbing in Switzerland, but I also did some not-so-awesome "letīs-drop-my-new-camera-from-a-mountain"-action, so no camera, no pics. GRM"#§@$"#!!

Another Wong Kar-Wai film, back from 1994. Pretty striking is the story telling. Instead of one story or several stories intertwining, this film tells two stories after each other and all the two stories have in common is a food stall in the city jungle of Hong Kong. To me it is rather special as I spent two weeks in Hong Kong while staying in the Chunking Mansions, where part of the story takes place.

Went on a rock climbing trip for the easter weekend and ended up getting all enthusiastic again about probably the best book I've ever read: Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance. As i was just looking for the book of my shelf in order to lend it to one of my friends I kind of got curious about what was written about it on the web. Well, an awful lot. Of course by many its seen as one of the major books to have come from the hippie era and its philosophy is quite thought provoking. So I figured I might post some links here.
First of all, a must-read/scan, perhaps some of it even before you read the book:
ZMM Quality
Some pictures of the original roadtrip:
Gallery
And some analyses and reviews...
This must be one of the best films I know. Very slow, very subtle, but also very beautiful with a great atmosphere to it. If you like foreign films, go watch it. If you find it boring, go watch it again. Open up for the details.
To some this is just a superficial story about two techno kids on drugs in a big city. To me it is much much more. The unfocussed camera work, the intense colours and lighting and the beautiful Shu Qi make this a very atmospheric piece that'll leave you with a melancholic feeling. Visual pleasure to watch
