This long exposure photograph captures the path a Roomba robot vacuum cleaner makes as it works its magic.

I would guess it began at the center of the spiral.

A thoughtful and informed critique of old Chinese propaganda posters, mainly from the Mao era.

By way of balance to the rat neuron powered Frankenstein below, I offer you this friendlier version of Robot.

This Robot travels in a straight line, and depends on random strangers to point it in the right direction. It has a destination card on a flag. This robot is at the mercy of New Yorkers, yet still managed to get from A to B.

And of course it creates an interesting question, is it a robot?

A robot whose brain is made from Rat neurons in a nutrient soup, a very interesting first step in creating a machine with a biological brain. Its a pretty simple robot, sonar sensors in and wheels out, so over time its brain learns to avoid obstacles.

Old, and bad science, but still fun.
Weee, I can read this, as fast as normal. But then my normal is slow (badly dyslexic) and I also have a habit of writing like this.

Mil lists a very long long list of things he and his current girlfriend have argued about. It is a roller coaster ride, and having dated a few Germans I recognise a lot in these pages.

I have to say it is not something I would have ever thought would have gripped me, but the gents love for his girlfriend is very clear and makes the world seem better.
