Ok, well i'm going to try to keep this updated a bit and work out how to change things on here.
Most the stumbles below the one below (if that makes sense...) are an import from my del.icio.us page. Fairly irrelevant stuff really but just another place for me to find a few of my bookmarks.

This is the first stumbler's page that i've posted, there are some great sites and pics on here, but one passage of text that particularly stood out to me;

'I've been thinking.
Yes, that is always the first warning sign but I'm gonna ignore it this time. See, I have come to realize I am one of those people that does not believe in luck or fate. I'm not saying it doesn't exist but that I'm gonna purposely choose to take credit for the path my life takes whether it be good or bad. I'm not gonna wallow in self-pity for the "unfortunate circumstances" that surround me because I ultimately led myself there. And I'm not gonna thank some God for the "good fortune" that has befallen me because I made the decision to make it happen.

Yes have faith but people have faith in yourself. The best I can do is succeed and the least I can do is try. Life does have its challenges. But are we not stronger people for facing those challenges rather than running from them? When did adversity become a brick wall?

By the way, success has nothing to do with what kind of car you drive or how fat your wallet is. It does, however, have everything to do with the kind of person you are and how you treat others. I'm not saying we should embrace the assholes of the world just don't become them.

Dumb luck, yes luck is dumb just as leaving your destiny in someone elses hands. There is always something we can do to change our circumstances. Sometimes it is something as small as wearing a smile as opposed to a frown or something bigger like changing your zip code but there is always something. We never have to settle. So, Keep your "fate" as your own. See what happens when I think.

P.S. I'm not saying there aren't accidents that occur along our path, there most certainly are. There will be things that happen to us or around us that we have NO control over. Where my theory comes into play is how we overcome these hurdles. How we handle the adversity presented to us on our journey. These are the things that build our character, that strengthen our relationships, that heighten our ability to decipher between those trying to help and failing miserably and those just out to cause harm. Watch your back while looking forward. Easier for the two-headed creatures I suppose, lol.'
